Lesson 7 Reflection - Team 1

We conducted our last team meeting for ETC647 in Elluminate last night and went over the lesson 7 assignments to make sure we had completed all that was required. After running through our check list  we agreed that we had indeed completed the required assignments and that the course was complete (minus our grades for these final assignments).  Our meeting was about 30 minutes long and we agreed to call each other next week for end of semester and Holiday best wishes.

A job well done team 1!  It has truly been my privilege and pleasure to to be teamed with each of you.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Lesson 6 Reflection - Team 1

Lesson 6 has been spent in more individual activities than in team, collaborative work.  We did complete our team reflection a couple of weeks ago after we completed our team reflection assignment.  I know that each Team 1 member had a significant amount of work to complete on assignments for ETC647 and/or other courses in addition to our professional and personal responsibilities so most of our time in this lesson was spent going solo.

Being a member of Team 1 has been a very rewarding experience for me.  I have learned a tremendous amount about our program and about being a person that can be counted on and being able to count on my teammates.  This has been a great semester and course and I thank my teammates and Chih, our instructor for enhancing my learning experience.

Team 1 Meeting Notes – 11/17/11

As has been the norm throughout this course Team 1 works extremely well together which makes our interaction productive and enjoyable.  Although John and I will be continuing on next semester, we lose our fearless and dynamic leader to her own success as Barb graduates the program and is already tapped by her employer to take on greater challenges as a result of the knowledge and success she has achieved in the ETC Master’s program.  We wish her the best and continue to extend our love and support to Barb as she moves forward (John and I have already secured Barb’s review services for next semester to keep our APA requirements in line.
Happy Thanksgiving from Team 1!

Lesson 5 Reflection

Much like the rest of this semester, this was another great lesson. In lesson 5 we had the opportunity to put together a training session and execute the session with an audience. The session was awesome we had one other student from our class and our instructor Chih. The session was informative and sparked curiosity in the the audience as well as the trainers. After the training session we met together as a group and decided how we would tackle the final reflection paper that corresponds with the training session. We as a team decided we will tackle this paper in the same fashion we have tackled all our papers, collaboratively. We created a Google Doc that we can post our comments under each title heading making sure we address all areas. The document unfolded into a great narration of thought from each member. We decided to keep our paper in this format. We felt it represented the essence of what this project represented to each of us. Barb, APA Queen, formatted the paper to fit correct APA format and voila, the final product is create in true Team 1 style.

Even though we have come to the end of our group projects Team 1 will continue to meet a few more times to address our final group reflection for the semester, plus we would probably go through withdraws from one another.

Short briefing meeting post presentation

We met this afternoon to briefly discuss our plan for writing our 2 page paper for the Network Training session. We all agreed that it was a good experience and we learned a lot from our own presentation about Delicious and Delicious stacks. We also mentioned that we are continuing to learn about Elluminate and it's functions.

Although our audience was only 2 extra people, we felt that the presentation had good feedback and good comments and questions that furthered the learning of this training session.

We will collaborate on Google docs to write our paper. We will all brainstorm and add comments in the loose outline and I will format the paper. Dan will email Chih and find out for sure when this paper needs to be posted. We will meet next Wednesday at 3:00 p to finalize the paper. It will be a bittersweet moment to end the semester, we have become a close and supporting group.

Team 1 Reflection Lesson 4

As usual our team is very supportive of the team members. We have emailed to put the finishing touches on our Network Training. We will practice tomorrow evening prior to the presentation. We look forward to seeing the members of our community there!

We can't believe this is our last group presentation together. It has been a great time and the team dynamics have been great.
